Domaine de Dolomieu: practical information

Located in the heart of the Dauphiné region, between Lyon, Grenoble and Chambéry, the Domaine de Dolomieu is ideally situated for a weekend break in Isère, a wellness retreat, a business event or a family holiday. The estate is easily accessible and offers all the charm of the countryside without being too far from major transport links or the main towns in the Rhône-Alpes region.

An ideal location between Lyon, Grenoble and Chambéry

The Domaine de Dolomieu is located in Isère, at an equal distance from Lyon, Grenoble and Chambéry. At the gateway to the Alps, en route to the ski resorts, the estate enjoys a prime location for exploring the Savoie region, the Ain département and the stunning landscapes of the Dauphiné with its lakes, pre-Alpine hills, vineyards and villages.

The village of Dolomieu, birthplace of the mineralogist Déodat de Dolomieu, offers a peaceful atmosphere and serves as an ideal base from which to explore the region while enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the estate.

How to get here

By car

Coming from the A43:

• Take exit 9 towards La Tour-du-Pin

• At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the Route de la Bourbe/D1

• Then join the Route de Lyon, D1006

• Then take the 3rd exit at the roundabout, towards the D16, onto Boulevard Victor Hugo, then turn left onto Montée de la Chapelle

• Turn right onto the Route de Dolomieu/D16B, then onto the Route du Dauphiné

• Enter Dolomieu, then turn left onto Rue des Forge

• The Domaine de Dolomieu is on the left

There is a large car park with 60 spaces on site, featuring several charging points for electric vehicles (€15 per day).

By train

Nearest station: La Tour-du-Pin, located 5 miles from the resort.
It is served by several TER regional train lines providing connections to: Lyon-Part-Dieu, Lyon-Perrache, Grenoble, Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Milan.
